Vikings vs. Saints Odds Still New Orleans -5

Vikings vs. Saints odds continued to sit at New Orleans -5 as of Tuesday evening.  The Saints were getting the most action at Sportsbook.com of any other side in any other sport.  80 percent of the action was on New Orleans in this game.  Oddsmakers have only moved the line down a half point, and that is to encourage more action on the Saints it appears.

Baltimore Ravens 2011 Super Bowl Odds

The Baltimore Ravens 2011 Super Bowl odds were listed at +900 or 9/1 at SBG Global.  But here is an interesting hint as to how the oddsmakers believe the Ravens will perform this season.  A number of online sportsbooks have made Baltimore a pretty significant favorite to win 10 or more regular season games.  SBG Global, we should note, will pay out $10.50 for every $10 bet if this should happen.

New England Patriots 2011 Super Bowl Odds

The New England Patriots 2011 Super Bowl odds came in at 9/1 or +900 at SBG Global, a far change from the usual 3/1 we would see year after year pre-2010.  This once terrifying Patriots team seems to have lost its dynasty status in the last two years, but make no mistake about it, they are still very much contenders.

New York Giants 2011 Super Bowl Odds – Predictions

According to analysts at BetUS.com, the New York Giants will be this season’s “Sleeper Team”, and with 2011 Super Bowl odds set at a whopping 25/1, there is definitely some great value.  BetUS.com’s predictions, in particular, point to the Giants winning OVER 8.5 games, a good bet despite the -140 price tag.

UFC 118 Odds: BJ Penn Huge Favorite Over Frankie Edgar

UFC 118 odds were available at BetUS.com (see website here).

The best lightweight of all time, BJ Penn, goes up against Frankie Edgar as a very big -350 favorite.  Edgar, however, is 12-1 in all time fights and would pay out $25 for every $10 bet with a win.  The Penn price may be a bit steep.  The Edgar price might deserve some consideration.  Keep in mind, Edgar had a unanimous decision in April against Penn in Abu Dhabi.
