Some Vegas Sportsbooks Saved by Last Minute Steelers Surge

Some Las Vegas sportsbooks like The M, The Venetian, Hard Rock and Tropicana made out well this Super Bowl. 

“We took a ton of Steeler moneyline bets,” Sportsbook Director Mike Colbert told the Las Vegas Sun. “I expected Steeler money to come in today and it did. It was a lot more than I expected. We really tried to balance the book, but it just so happened that the Packers were much better for us.”

Authorities claim that the alleged Bellagio chip bandit was prescribed a whopping 500 maximum strength Oxycontin pills in a period of just 4 months.

Anthony Carleo has been charged with a brazen robbery of the Bellagio Casino on December 4 whereby he entered the establishment during the early morning hours dressed in a motorcycle outfit and helmet to conceal his face.  $1.5 million in chips was taken from a craps table in a matter of approximately 3 minutes.

Another Parkinson Drug Tied to Gambling Addiction, Risky Sexual Behavior

Yet another individual has filed a lawsuit against a Parkinson drug manufacturer, saying it caused him to become an addictive gambler.

Morton Wylie, a 72-year-old former police officer from the United Kingdom, agreed to take a guinea pig drug called Rotigotine in an effort to cure his Parkinson’s Disease.  Instead, he became a compulsive gambler who lost his family’s savings.
