100 Billionth Hand to be Dealt Soon at PokerStars (Video)
The milestone hands are coming thick and fast in PokerStars' 100 Billion Hands countdown. The hand ticker will today cross the 99.9bn threshold, and since last Friday when the first of 300 regular milestone hands kicked in, almost $700,000 has been awarded to players.
However, the big one is still to come. In just over 48 hours' time, the 100-billionth hand will be dealt, which will award $1 million to players on just one hand of poker!

An agreement has been signed between Optimal Payments Plc, the company which operates NETELLER, and IPT Service, the joint venture between PokerStars and the Pagano Group.

A visitor from Ohio was saved from almost certain death on the streets of Toronto, Ontario Canada by “Rounders” star John Malkovich.
Jim Walpole was walking on a street along with his wife heading back to the King Edward Hotel when Walpole tripped and fell, according to the Canadian News.
Walpole tumbled upon some exposed scaffolding and slashed his throat.

Internet Gambling Bill: Don’t be Fooled by Reid’s Bearish Attitude
Former boxer turned Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) came out swinging Friday against online gambling legislation introduced by Congressman Peter King (R-New York).
“(It) basically authorizes everything – 21, poker, everything,” Reid said of King’s bill.
“I felt for several months now that I don’t see any movement on this,” Reid said. “I don’t see anything happening.”
But Reid can ill-afford to anger the casino sector in his home state, the majority of which want legalization at the federal level.
Harry Reid Down on Congressional Online Gambling Bill
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid believes that a bill proposed by New York Congressman Peter King to legalize online gambling at the federal level undermines the efforts of Web poker advocates.
In an interview with the Las Vegas Sun, Reid says that King’s bill would authorize just about everything with little oversight.
“(It) basically authorizes everything – 21, poker, everything,” Reid said.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A Republican congressman on Thursday introduced legislation to allow online gambling on a federal level, which he says will give consumers more uniformity than legalizing it on a state-by-state basis.
The move by Representative Peter King of New York follows industry lobbying for federal legislation to provide a larger, more liquid market across state lines, attracting more gamblers.
