Gerrit Cole has been outstanding this season for the Yankees with a 7-1 record and a 2.84 ERA. Justin Verlander is 2-3 with a 4.85 record.
Cole suffered his first loss of the season his last start. And he only allowed two runs in six innings Friday against the Red Sox.
