Consensus Cappers Flop With Red Sox, G911 Was on the Rays
(June 5, 2023) - The consensus cappers were all over the Red Sox as they got set to host a final game against the Tampa Bay Rays Monday late afternoon. This was a makeup game.
Shane McClanahan was 8-1 with a 2.07 ERA for Tampa. McClanahan took his first loss after allowing two runs in 5 2/3 innings Tuesday against the Cubs. Brayan Bello was 3-3 with a 3.89 ERA for the Red Sox. He limited the Reds to one run in four innings and struck four in a tough loss to the that team on Tuesday. He logged a quality start in Tuesday night's loss to the Angels, allowing just two runs on six hits over seven strong innings.
Yandy Diaz (.312) was 3-4 against him coming into this game and went 2 for 4 at bats with one run Monday.
Bello we didn't see pitching beyond the 5th inning whereas McClanahan, looking to bounce back today, we expected to get through 7. Both made it through the 6th.
