Jeff Shulman is Becoming a Real Hit

A glance at Google Trends shows that "Jeff Shulman Rumors" were starting to enter into the rankings at number 93. 

Should poker star Phil Ivey fail to make it to the final table of the 2009 World Series of Poker main event, Jeff Shulman should at least provide some entertainment for what would otherwise likely be one of the worst WSOP final tables ever.

The Worst World Series of Poker Final Table Ever?

Wicked Chops Poker.com is calling it "The Worst World Series of Poker Final Table Ever" and with good reason perhaps.

"Even Jeff Shulman, who if nothing else would generate interest due to his throwing-the-bracelet-in-the-trash stance, is now 10th and is not necessarily a lock. Steven Begleiter is now the chip leader with 27,890,000. He's followed by Darvin Moon with 24,600,000."

Lacey Jones Luck Gets Boost After Joining Absolute Poker

The 2009 WSOP Media Invitational Poker Tournament was the second largest in the history of the tournament with a field of 165 players on 55 teams. Marc Rizzo from team "Overfed and Underwashed" took home the top individual prize and "Team Lacey" captured the top team prize anchored by a 4th place finish by Lana Maier and an 11th place finish by Lacey Jones. The event raised $6500.00 for the Nevada Cancer Institute on behalf of the top players and teams.

Online Poker eCheck Seizure Warrants Could be Unsealed by July 27

A hearing is scheduled for July 27 to determine whether seizure warrants and court documents connected with an investigation into online poker eCheck processors will be unsealed. 

Costigan Media, parent company of Gambling911.com, submitted a Memorandum of Law in Support of its Motion to Intervene and to unseal court records related to the issuance of a seizure warrant of funds tied to online poker's two biggest companies, PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker.
