University of San Diego President Plays Down Sports Bribery Scandal
Mary Lyons, President of the University of San Diego, does not believe a recent point shaving scandal that has rocked the school’s basketball program will have any long time effect.
The USD President told the San Diego Union-Tribune Thursday: “The (sports bribery) incidents that have brought our University into the national spotlight are indeed serious, but they do not define us."
The implications are serious nonetheless.

Phil Ivey Looks Stoned
He may have been perfectly sober for all we know, but a set of photos that popped up of poker pro Phil Ivey appear to have caught the player at an especially “bad” time.
“He looks either stoned or drunk,” observed Gambling911.com’s own Thomas Somach. Emphasis on the word “look” since we weren’t exactly there to administer a blood test.
The photos in question were taken during an event in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
To be fair, one does not necessarily associate Ivey and his squeaky clean image with drinking or recreational drugs.

Prahlad Friedman Calls out Isaac Haxton and Justin Bonomo for Account Sharing
UB.com poker pro Prahlad Friedman has called out fellow players Haxton and Bonomo for alleged “account sharing”.
Iassac Haxton and Justin Bonomo share and switch accounts often. Was playing random guy and looked up his stats. Identical to Hax. Haxton knows I don't want to play him head up. So scummy. Beware of their scummy tactics. They have been doing this to me for years. No more.
The online poker sites have taken pretty drastic actions against “account sharing”. Witness: Full Tilt Poker.
