Five days after being arrested in Tampa, Florida, on charges of DUI and refusing a DUI test, embattled poker pro John Racener has released a statement about the arrest.

Lawsuit Filed Against Full Tilt Poker and Michael Mizrachi

 

An online poker room has filed a lawsuit against the parent company of Full Tilt Poker and 2010 World Series of Poker finalist Michael Mizrachi.

Deliverance Poker claims that Mizrachi was supposed to represent the online card room by wearing their hats and other clothing articles.  Instead, Mizrachi elected to wear Full Tilt gear.  The suit alleges “breach of contract”.

Used Car Dealer Brandon Steven: Leaves Vegas With $635,011 Lemon

 

Brandon Steven is returning to selling used cars in Wichita, Kansas after coming up one place short of the final table of the 2010 World Series of Poker.  

Steven, who runs Brandon Steven Motors, number 10 finish may seem like a lemon to him today, but tomorrow that sour taste should get a whole lot sweeter.

Wichita’s most famous used car dealer is now one of its richest.  He takes home a delectable $635,011.

Canada Continues Its Dominance At 2010 WSOP

Oh Canada, Oh Canada.  Three Canadian players have held onto three of the top 5 spots in the 2010 World Series of Poker (WSOP) throughout the day Saturday.

Jonathan Duhamel, who for a short time was the chip leader, qualified for the 2010 WSOP through PokerStars.com.  He comes to us from Boucherville, Quebec and is one of two players in the top 10 from that province.  At press time he had the 4th largest number of chips.

2010 WSOP Field of 27: David Baker, Michael Mizrachi, Adam Levy

Gambling911.com has looked at the top 14 chip leaders at the 2010 WSOP already.

Coming in at number 15 was David Baker of Katy, Texas.

He has two first place finishes in live poker tournaments to date and over $1 million in winnings, making him one of the most successful poker players among the remaining 27.  He also finished 6th at the 2nd event of this year’s World Series of Poker, the Players Championship. 

Another Dave Baker oddly enough was eliminated in 28th place.
