Belarus PokerStars qualifier Andrei Konopelko is chip leader going in to Day 4 of the record-breaking #EPT100 Barcelona Main Event. The 50-year-old from Minsk - who won his seat in a €530 satellite on PokerStars - has 1,451,000.
There are 102 players left from the 292 who started Day 3 today. The overall field was a staggering 1496 players from 71 countries, a record for EPT events in Europe (beating the 1,240-strong EPT6 Sanremo won by Liv Boeree).

There were a staggering 1496 players from 71 countries competing at #EPT100 Barcelona, the historic 100th EPT Main Event and the debut event of Season 11. This is a record for EPT events in Europe (beating the 1,240-strong EPT6 Sanremo won by Liv Boeree) and follows the record-breaking €1,100 Estrellas Main Event which had 2,560 entries. Day 1b yesterday, which had 1010 entries, was also the biggest start day for any EPT, including the PCA.

Matias Ruzzi Wins #EPT100 Estrellas Barcelona Main Event for €198,55
Argentina’s Matias Ruzzi has beaten a staggering 2,560-strong field to take down the €1,100 Estrellas Main Event for €198,550. The event was the largest live freeze-out tournament in PokerStars history with a prize pool of €2,483,200 and 383 players paid.
Ruzzi, 28, has now exactly doubled his lifetime tournament winnings and jumps from ninth to fourth in Argentina’s all-time money list at $USD 526,326. However, a deal made when there were four players in the final means that runner-up Vladislav Donchev from Russia takes home a significantly bigger pay-out of €278,500.

Borgata’s $9.6 million Lawsuit Against Phil Ivey May Take a Year to be Heard

Ivey is being used by Atlantic City’s Borgata Hotel and Casino over an alleged playing card scam. The suit is claiming fraudulent winnings during a series of visits to the casino in 2012.
