FanDuel Customers Reporting a Massive Outage Thursday Evening During the NBA Playoffs

FanDuel acknowledged a major outage affecting some customers Thursday evening. It wasn't immediately clear if this was just regional or across their entire platform in the U.S.. "Our team is aware and investigating the current technical difficulties prohibiting users from accessing our platform. We will follow up as soon as we have an update."

Paddy Power Owner Flutter Threatens to Quit London Stock Exchange for Good

The gambling giant behind Paddy Power and Betfair has threatened to ditch the London Stock Exchange in a fresh blow to the City. Dublin-headquartered Flutter on Thursday revealed it had launched a review of its listing on London’s main market which could see it leave the exchange for good. The gambling group said it expects to complete its review by the end of June and will make a final decision shortly after. Flutter’s threat to leave London for good now poses a fresh setback for the troubled exchange, which is also struggling to attract new listings. The company’s move to New York in 2024 followed its rapid expansion in the US through the acquisition of sports betting company FanDuel as it sought to capitalise on a loosening of gambling laws in America. Preakness Stakes queries were beginning to roll in as BetOnline released odds and we received confirmation that Kentucky Derby winner Golden Tempo will not be racing in the second leg of the Triple Crown. Three of the top 11 queries were Preakness Stakes related. We should note there were not a significant number of impressions for the rather generic terms "preakness stakes" and "preakness odds". Even "preakness" was seeing a total of 100 impressions over the last 24 hours. This is not the greatest sign for the upcoming race. Police Arrest 11 People in Maple Ridge, British Columbia Gambling House Investigation

Police have busted an alleged illegal gambling house in Maple Ridge, seizing a poker paraphernalia, cash, and a firearm. As a result of a six-month investigation and searches by multiple police teams 11 people were arrested. In November 2025, the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of British Columbia’s (CFSEU-BC) Joint Illegal Gaming Investigation Team (JIGIT) started an investigation into the suspected gaming house. “Illegal gaming houses are not harmless operations – they are often tied to organized crime and bring significant risks to public safety,” said Sgt. Sarbjit K. Sangha, police media relations officer. “These locations can become hubs for violence, exploitation, and other criminal activity, putting both patrons and surrounding communities in danger.”

Hantavirus is a rare but potentially serious viral infection spread mainly through contact with infected rodents or their droppings, urine, or saliva. Three passengers have died in an outbreak on board a Dutch cruise ship. Not everyone is thrilled with the Polymarket Hatavirus pandemic betting market.
