Free Online Poker

Homeless poker pros appear to be hocking their wares through free online poker sites these days following the exits of three prominent online poker sites from the US market.

Among them, Maria Ho.

She’s now being billed as a “Team Rise” player after losing her contract with practically defunct Absolute Poker.  Rise Poker is part of the powerful Zen Entertainment Network of free rooms that includes WWE Poker.

And the free online poker site knows how to promote this Taiwanese hottie.

Smart, sweet, sexy and successful – Maria Ho has it all. In addition to having earned more than $1 million playing tournament poker since 2007, Maria has appeared as a star of the reality show The Amazing Race (finishing in 6th place during the show’s 15th season) and made it to Hollywood week on American Idol. She is a standout at a game few women play – never mind consistently beat.

Noted poker pro Scotty Nguyen is also listed among the pros playing for Rise.

Rise is one of a number of growing subscription-based, rake-free online poker rooms cropping up that claim to be legally operating from within the United States.  VIP membership entitles players to win some “serious cash”.
