2012 World Series of Poker Update:  97 Players Enter Day 6, Gaelle Baumann

Heading into Day 6 of the World Series of Poker, 97 players will return including French female player, Gaelle Baumann, who at one point led with chips.  She currently ranked at number 8.

The field is expected to be trimmed down to 27 by end of Day 6.

Notable returning players include Paul Volpe, Roland “Speedy” Israelashvili, who is one of the WSOP’s most prolific cashers the past three years,  Jason Somerville, two-time WSOP bracelet winner Vanessa Selbst, Erik Cajelais, Leo Wolpert, Sam Holden and Ben Greenberg, just to name a few.

Notable eliminations include the likes of actor Kevin Pollak, Matt Marifioti, Sorel Mizzi and Daniel Negreanu. 

All remaining players are guaranteed $62,021.  The current chip leader is Kyle Keranen with 6,935,000 (estimated count).
