Jury Selection Underway for Whitey Bulger Trial
BOSTON (Associated Press) — As jury selection gets underway in the long-awaited trial of reputed gangster James "Whitey" Bulger, the biggest challenge may be finding 18 people who can spend the next four months hearing the case.
Unlike some other high-profile mob cases, jurors in the Bulger trial won't be sequestered and their identities will be made public after the verdict.
A judge told prospective jurors Tuesday that despite Bulger's notoriety, the approach to picking a jury remain the same.

Online Gambling Operators Sentenced to Prison Monday
Two operators of an online gambling website based in Costa Rica have been sentenced to prison Monday.
Thomas Uva IV, aka “Little T,” 32, was sentenced to 21 months, followed by three years of supervised release, and John Colello, 54, was sentenced to six months, followed by two years of supervised release. Together they ran the website 44wager.com

Online Bookie Sentenced to 2 Years in Prison
David B. Fein, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that PHILLIP JOHN BAUCO, 56, of Bridgeport, was sentenced today by Senior United States District Judge Alfred V. Covello in Hartford to 24 months of imprisonment, followed by two years of supervised release, for participating in an illegal gambling operation. Judge Covello also ordered BAUCO to pay a fine in the amount of $5000. On January 28, 2010, BAUCO pleaded guilty to one count of racketeering conspiracy.

Hollywood Casino in St. Louis Loses Roof in Severe Storms
Friday nights severe storms throughout Oklahoma and Missouri have left significant damage including a lost roof at the Hollywood Casino in Maryland Heights, Missouri outside of St. Louis. Trees and light poles were also down outside the casino. (This story was still developing)
