A popup announcement appeared on the site for any US resident attempting to access the cash rooms.  The company had permitted “real cash” play for the past few years following an indictment handed down by the US Justice Department.

The GOP has taken a tough stance against legalizing online poker following last Friday’s crackdown, linking the activity to everything from drug trafficking to Al Queda.

The new Hustler Casino online poker room, at, went online last Friday, the same day the U.S. Justice Department issued arrest warrants for the executives of three foreign online poker rooms, Poker Stars, Full Tilt Poker and Absolute Poker.

Online Poker Indictments: Hopefully History Repeats Itself

The question people are asking this Monday:  Will I get my money back from PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, following Friday's indictments? 

It was early 2007 when first broke the news that the two founders of online payment transfer company, NETeller, had been arrested on US soil.  At the time, NETeller was the biggest facilitator of payments for online gambling websites. 

Over a 24 hour period, some G911 readers reacted swiftly by withdrawing funds.  It would take another 24 hours before the major mainstream news outlets confirmed the story.
