Pros of Using Bitcoin to Play Poker Online

Lightning Fast Payouts - Typically within just a few hours.  You don't even need to have an exchange linked to your bank account in order to request a payout (though it is recommended).  Simply download a secure wallet.  This takes a matter of minutes.

Low Fees - Much lower than any other method used in transfers.

Ease of Use - Because some credit card issuing banks do not allow their cards to be used for gambling purposes, the charge (amount you wish to send to bet with) might be denied.  Other methods of opening an account or sending funds could prove less convenient.  With Bitcoin it is just a matter of copying and verifying an address (also known as a token stamp).

Great Bonuses - Because this is such an inexpensive and easy means of sending funds to the online poker room, sites like Americas Cardroom typically offer more enticing bonuses.

Anonymous - There is no way of tracing where funds are going to or coming from when using a Bitcoin secure wallet.  Keep in mind that funds transferred to your bank account are subject to being taxed.

Increase Your Winnings - If you are one who believes the price of Bitcoin is going to continue to go up, keep a portion in your wallet to increase its value.  ONLY KEEP WHAT YOU COULD LOSE.  It's like the stock market only more volatile.  As of early December 2018, the price of Bitcoin was way down but this benefits those looking to invest as we are in a buyer's market.

Ability to Play Online Poker From Countries Where it was Tough in the Past - In some regions of the world (primarily in Asia, Africa and even some Latin American countires) moving money has not always been easy.  Argentina, as an example, makes it very difficult to receive funds from the United States via traditional bank methods and even via the likes of Fed Ex and similar carriers.  Bitcoin removes many of these barriers provided exchanges are allowed in one's country of residence.  Some countries do not allow exchanges to operate and Gambling911.com does not highly recommend use of third party ventures (i.e. individuals or companies that offer to buy Bitcoin on your behalf).
