Winning the World Series of Poker sure seems to have its benefits. In November, at the tender age of 21, Joe Cada became the youngest ever to win a main event title. Since then, he has done almost daily interviews on both television and radio and has seemingly embraced the role of poker ambassador that can come with winning "the big one". Over the weekend, it was reported that Cada was spotted with his arm around Playboy Playmate Jayde Nicole. Nicole is not just any Playmate, she is actually a former Playmate of the Year, a prestigious title indeed. Needless to say, the sighting of the two together created a flurry of speculation about whether or not the two were an item.
Well, it seems the speculation can be laid to rest. Aside from the fact that the beauty was seen later that same evening leaving with Entourage star Adrian Grenier, Cada's agent, Dan Frank responded by saying that the duo are in fact just friends. They spent several hours together playing table games at he 2010 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure but that was the extent of the pairing.
Apparently, the new world champion has had quite a run in the extracurricular department as he has been linked to a bevy of beauties over the past 3 months since achieving his new-found game. However, his representatives insist he does not have a current girlfriend and is opting to maintain his bachelorhood. He can hardly be blamed. He is 21, rich, famous and the world is at his fingertips.
