Brothers Face Private Prosecution Tied to Mansion Group Fraud Claims
Brothers Jason and Justin Drummond face prosecution for their alleged role in siphoning off assets worth millions and selling them to the Gibraltar-based giant Mansion Group.
The two appeared in a hearing at Westminster Magistrates Court on Friday to face six charges each of fraud and theft.
The prosecution has been brought by a former significant shareholder in the now defunct Media Corporation.
Steve Egan claims that the sale of assets to the Mansion Group occurred some time around 2009.
The Drummond Brothers issued a statement: "These are frivolous allegations, submitted with malicious intent."
A spokesperson for the Mansion Group said: "Mansion did not acquire and does not (and never has) own, control (including on our servers) or operate any of the domains identified."
