"I backed Peter," Dwan tells PokerNews.com in an exclusive interview.  Dwan went on to explain that he has been owed money by folks in the past - and still is owed by some - and admits he has owed people, but that it is part of the high stakes poker world.  "If you think someone owes you money, you should send them the accounting."

Dwan claims Jetten has so far failed to do so.

"He had some stake out.  I don't remember the exact terms.  I remember I was just livid around the cash terms.  I wanted nothing to do with staking him.

Dwan also claims that someone else fronted for Jetten's buy-ins.

When asked about a potential arbitration, Dwan claims Jetten said to "wait and see what the public thinks".

When asked if he believes he does in fact owe Jetten money, Dwan said he believed Jetten owed him.

Dwan did not wish to address the allegations made by Voulgaris just yet.

Barry Carter of PokerStrategy previously reported on the Voulgaris matter.

Haralabob Voulgaris has claimed Dwan put sports bets on his behalf as a 'Beard' and Dwan would get 25% of any profits. However, Dwan did not give Voulgaris any winnings, because he used the funds to bet on behalf of another sportsbetting group, and the bets lost. Dwan confirmed this was true, but was angry that Voulgaris used a third party to collect some of the funds, because it left him in a tough spot with other people he owed money to. Because of this, Dwan said he didn't feel like paying the remainder that was owed.

The poker phenom, whose live tournament winnings are just shy of $9 million, just this week signed on with long time Gambling911 sponsor ACR Poker

“We’re really excited to bring Tom Dwan aboard,” an ACR representative said in a press release. “His bold, daring approach to poker is a great fit with ACR Poker’s mentality and we’re excited that he’ll be working with us to bring big poker to more people, both in the U.S. and around the world.”
