Thomas Tuchel's days at Bayern Munich appear to be nearing an end, though he's made it through yet another embarrassing loss without getting canned.

Tuchel's odds of getting canned and when continue to get shorter nonetheless.

Nearly all bookmakers offering these odds have him out, either by choice or getting fired, after the next match.  The club faces RB Leipzig on Saturday.  The latter is listed as a +360 dog.

The embattled manager was given one more vote of confidence after VFL Bochum beat Bayern Munich 3-1, a match that had to briefly be suspended after fans threw tennis balls onto the field. CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen said after the loss that Tuchel would remain in his position...for now at least.

Dreesen said: “I feel rubbish. I don’t believe in big statements about the coach. This issue isn’t on our mind at the moment.

When asked whether Tuchel would remain in charge next week, he added: “Of course.”

Nevertheless, the club is reportedly targeting a move for Xabi Alonso should Tuchel be sacked as head coach.

Under Alonso's leadership, Leverkusen currently remain undefeated in Germany’s top flight and are eight points clear ahead of  Bayern.

Alonso, however, is being linked to the permanent manager position at another high profile club, Liverpool.  His odds there are 8/11.

Jose Mourinho is the 7/2 odds favorite to land the Bayern Munich manager job after Any Saudi League side.
