Gambling911.com is thrilled to provide its readers with free picks and predictions for the start of the 2008 Pre Season NFL.

The long anticipated start to the football season is just about here with the Hall of Fame game kicking off Thursday night! With that begins the excitement of Football along with numerous opportunities for profits! There are many contrary thoughts on whether or not money can be made during the Pre-Season as the amount of minutes starters play can be very unpredictable.

However, I am in the camp, that if you studying the proper trends and angles you will most always come out ahead! So, with that thought in mind, below are some winning ATS Trends and Angles for the first full week of the NFL Pre-Season!NY Giants vs Detroit:NY is 8-3 SU and ATS in the L11 Pre-Season games but only 3-9 ATS vs the NFC while Detroit coach Marinelli is 0-3 ATS as a favorite and 3-9-2 as a Home Favorite in game one. Prediction: Slight edge to the Giants.Baltimore vs New England:Baltimore is 0-4 ATS with playing away in game one of the Pre-Season and only 6-13-1 ATS versus the AFC. New England is 5-0-3 ATS in game one of the Pre-Season. Prediction: Look for New England to rollPhiladelphia vs Pittsburgh:Philadelphia is 1-3 ATS in this series and a horrible 0-4 ATS in Game one. For over/under players, Pittsburgh is 8-1 Under versus the NFC. Prediction: Philadelphia coach Reid has proven over the years that he could card less about the Pre-Season. Look at Pittsburgh in this one.Dallas vs San Diego:San Diego head coach Turner is just 11-14 SU and 8-16-1 ATS during the Pre-Season. Dallas is 13-3 SU and ATS in their L16 pre-season games outside of their conference including a perfect 5-0 ATS as a dog. Prediction: Take the 'Boys in this one.

Saturday night's fight between golden boy Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao was already enjoying heavy betting by midweek. Betting odds on Oscar De La Hoya vs. Manny Pacquiao were listed between -180 for the favorite De La Hoya (at BetUS.com) and +160 for Pacquiao (found at BetCRIS.com).

We know the good teams already but when it comes to NBA betting, this time of year we start to witness teams that may have started off sub par begin to gain momentum. Their odds of winning either the NBA Championship or a Conference Championship have yet to catch up with that momentum.
  • Florida Gators
No game this weekend is likely to have more betting activity that the Florida Gators vs. Alabama Crimson Tide. Despite being ranked number one in the nation, the Crimson Tide are a huge +10 underdog at Sportsinteraction.com heading into Thursday afternoon. That's not a typo.
