Danny Lee Odds to Win Masters 2016

Danny Lee was red hot among the Masters hopefuls, sitting among the top 5 on the leaderboard, 2nd at the time this was going to press.  Danny who?

A $100 bet pays $20000 at BetOnline should Lee win

In fact, Lee was listed at the very bottom of the odds as the biggest long shot coming into Thursday’s Masters with the potential to pay out $20,000 on a $100 bet.  By Thursday night, Lee was coming in at 30-1 odds.

“While there is still plenty of time to go, this just shows the money making potential when betting Golf futures,” notes Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

Danny Jin-Myung Lee is a New Zealand golfer born in Incheon, South Korea.  Lee turned professional after the 2009 Masters Tournament.  He has one win in the PGA Tour and one win in the European Tour.

Golfers have had to contend with strong winds during Thursday’s play.

"That's probably top five. It's tough out there. It's blowing 25 miles per hour all day. There's a lot of times it felt like 50 miles per hour, there's a lot of gusts," Lee said.

"It's very hard to commit to the line on the putting green, because the wind was blowing so hard. And I was just really trying to focus on my routine and I did a great job today.

"I cannot ask for anything better in the first round, I'm very pleased with my round today."
