Tigers vs. White Sox Series Starting Pitchers, DFS Strategies – June 6-7

Gambling911.com has your Tigers vs. White Sox series starting pitchers and DFS strategies for June 6 through 7.

Team Head-to-Head Synopsis:

Detroit has only scored OVER three runs in two of their last ten games overall.  The UNDER is 8-2 in Detroit’s last 10 road games.  The UNDER meanwhile is 15-5-1 in the White Sox last 21 home games.  In this series we have only seen the total go OVER 7 on three occasions with quite a few of the other games falling on 7.

Saturday:

David Price (Tigers) – He is 4-2 on the season.  Price threw seven solid innings Sunday before getting into trouble in the eighth inning against the Angels. He took a no-hitter into the fourth and gave up eight hits in 7.2 innings. He struck out six and walked four.

Price is 4-5 with a 3.36 ERA in 11 career starts against the White Sox, including a no-decision on April 17 in which he gave up one run and four hits in eight frames.   Expect another solid performance here.

John Danks (White Sox) – He’s been roughed up by the Tigers in the past.  Coming off a 6-0 shutout, Danks we suspect will have some issues here.  He gave up 5 and 6 runs, respectively, in his previous two starts.

Ian Kinsler is 14-for-41 against John Danks with 4 homeruns and 5 RBIs.

Price is priced too high at -160 but some will jump on this number.

Sunday:

Alfredo Simon – (Tigers) He is 5-3 on the season and has only allowed more than three runs on two occasions (one of those allowing four).  He’s typically pitching six innings.  His last game against the White Sox he permitted three runs but only made it through the 5th inning before the relievers made matters much worse.

Jeff Samardzija (White Sox) got slaughtered the other night, giving up nine earned runs on 12 hits and one walk with four strikeouts in five innings Tuesday against the Rangers.

He has fared much better against Detroit with 2 and 1 run given up this season, respectively.  He’s also gone deep in both of those and will be desperate to rebound after that last showing.   We might even suggest taking him as your second pitcher choice for your Daily Fantasy roster on Sunday.

Anthony Gose has had success against Samarxsija, going 4-for-8.
