MLB Playoffs Picks – Nationals vs. Giants – Gambling911 0-7 This Post Season
Today we take our 0-7 record (you read that one right and may want to fade us) into Monday night.
Tonight we are on the Nationals/Giants UNDER 6.5
Nationals RH Doug Fister (16-6, 2.41 ERA) is an absolute stud who finished the season with four straight wins. He's only allowed four earned runs over this time.
Giants LH Madison Bumgarner (19-10, 2.86) owns a 2-3 mark with a slim 2.60 ERA and 1.09 WHIP in seven career starts versus the Nationals. He's also been on fire of late.
Both pitchers can go the full length of this game if need be under normal circumstances.
The UNDER is 7-1 in Washington’s last 8 road games.
Next, Dodgers/Cardinals UNDER 7.5
The Dodgers LH Hyun-Jin Ryu (14-7, 3.38 ERA) allowed more than three runs only once in his last nine starts and pitched 7 scoreless innings against St. Louis last year in the post season.
The Cardinals RH John Lackey (14-10, 3.82) is 5-3 lifetime with a 1.93 ERA against Los Angeles in the regular season and has yielded fewer than three earned runs in seven of his last eight turns.
Assuming this trend holds up and both starters allow no more than 2 runs apiece while going the distance, that 7.5 number should provide us with a nice cushion.
The UNDER is 11-5 in the last 16 meetings between these two teams.
