WPT Barcelona 2013 Final Table Set

Sergio Fernandez, 23, is a local Spaniard who has enjoyed the lead through a good portion of this event.

Fernandez lost a 1.6 million pot against Chanracy Khun when his pocket kings were cracked by the ace-king of the Canadian. How close the Spaniard came to carving a huge advantage for himself, but instead he will have to settle for fifth in chips when the action starts.

Tahiri Hassani, 60, comes to us from Morocco.  This is his first WPT event.  He had the 3rd largest chip stack coming into the final.

Chanracy Kuhn of Canada leads with chips.  The 22-year-old has over $100,000 in live tournament earnings and very nearly won a seat in the biggest game the world has ever seen, when he bubbled a satellite for the Big One for One Drop in Vegas this summer.

Benjamin Pollak of France is 29 and likely the one to beat with previous World Poker Tour experience.  These included a final table appearance at the WPT EFOP Diamond Championships in Paris and a fourth place finish at WPT Prague in Season X.

Bruno Garcia Cortelo is another Spanish local.  He was an online qualifier who will come into the final of the WPT Barcelona 2013 with the 4th largest number of chips.

Antonio Alfaia of Portugal, 40, finished third place at a $10,000 High Roller WSOP Circuit event in South Africa where he cashed for $62,468.
