US-Facing Online Poker Room Enjoys Accolades for ‘Fastest Payouts’

You’ve come a long way Baby!  Americas Cardroom back in its heyday was considered the red-headed step child in a field of far more advanced online poker rooms like PokerStars and PartyPoker.  Today, not only has the software vastly improved, so too have the promotions, the customer service and the all-important payouts.  In fact, Americas Cardroom is being praised as offering the “fastest payouts” of any US-facing online poker room today

“Americas Cardroom is a hybrid of sorts,” explains Payton O’Brien of Gambling911.com.  “You have a long established online poker group, Winning Poker, formerly called Yatahay, aligning itself more closely over the past year with the firmly established BetCRIS group, which have been in existence since 1985, ultimately purchasing DoylesRoom and rebranding that poker site as Americas Cardroom.  Expertise in all facets of the online gambling spectrum coming together to create the perfect storm.”

Workhorse ACR spokesperson Julius Maxwell, acknowledged his company’s traffic has increased twofold during the month of January, mostly a result of aggressive promotions such as Marathon Weekend Rake Races

“Business has never been better,” Maxwell gleefully declared.

And while other online poker rooms like Bovada and iPoker have increasingly moved towards a strictly recreational player base, Americas Cardroom still seems set on embracing the so-called grinders who prefer a dealt distribution method of rake over what is now becoming the industry norm weighted distribution.  Hence, the popularity of its Weekend Rake Race promotion.

“Players favor the dealt distribution method and that is what we are providing them with,” said Mr. Maxwell.

But in the end, it may all come down to payout speed for the US players.  Due to the current legal climate, the lack of available payment processors and concerns by operators over their reliability along with high costs associated with withdrawals for US players has resulted in an industry norm payout period of between 2 and 6 weeks.  Players for the most part have accepted this time frame especially when one considers the biggest poker site in the world is Zynga, which just happens to be a free-to-play online poker room.  If one has to wait a month for a check, so be it, they know a payment is coming (unlike with Zynga).

Americas Cardroom appeals to the more hardcore player who remembers the days of seeing funds in their Neteller account in under an hour.  By all means, the recreational poker player is more than welcome as well, we should point out.

According to report by Poker Affiliate Solutions late last week, debit card withdrawals at Americas Cardroom take between 2-4 days, transfers are processed within 1-4 days, and check withdrawals are processed within 1-3 weeks, well ahead of the current industry standard.  And the popular Pocket Fives website reveals that Americas Cardroom is processing payouts even faster than what's being reported.

"We do everything we can to make sitting down at an online poker table easy for US poker players," stated Michael Harris, another representative of Americas Cardroom. "We're extremely proud to be recognized for our payment processing customer service, and we look forward to being the #1 choice for players who are interested in a safe place to play."

The US-friendly online poker room will be hosting a $100,000 Guaranteed online poker tournament on Sunday, February 26th at 6pm ET. The $100,000 Guaranteed No Limit Hold'em tourney will be a freezout event and costs $150+$12 to get into. Daily freerolls are qualifying players into the event and satellites start from just $4+0.40.

Americas Cardroom was among the first to announce their sponsorship of the upcoming Latin Series of Poker in Lima, Peru, which will be attended and covered Gambling911.com.
