Pablo Gordillo Leads at End of Estrellas Day 1B

Pablo Gordillo is leading the 330 players left at the end of Day 1b of the €1,100 Estrellas Main Event. The 22-years-old spanish player has 353.100 chips.

There were 1,122 entries today which, combined with yesterday’s 592-strong field and the 1,000+ players already registered for Day 1c tomorrow, means Estrellas Barcelona has again beaten its own record. Last season, 2,560 players entered the €1,100 event; this season the total is at least 2,760 and may well be substantially higher than that.

Among those who competed today and will be back for Day 2 on Saturday are:

Team Online's Liliya Novikova and EPT champions including Kevin MacPhee (EPT Berlin), and Jannick Wrang (Campione) are also through to Day 2.

Live satellite winner Fernando Heredia led yesterday's 166 Day1a survivors with 336,200. Last year's Estrellas champion was Matias Ruzzi who defeated a record 2,560-strong field to take €198,550 back home to Argentina.
