Lock Poker Welcomes Two New Pros: Jason Lee and Tim West

Lock Poker is thrilled to announce the new additions to their LockPRO ELITE team:  Jason Lee and Tim West.

Jason spent his College years at the University of Florida, He stumbled upon the game of poker when he stopped by a group of friend's home game.  Describing himself as "horrendous" at the time, Jason quickly fell in love with the game and became engulfed in the study of the game.  Through hard work, long nights and some help from friends, he quickly found himself among the upper ranks of online poker professionals.  The rest is history.

Since then, Lee has amassed over $3 Million in online tournament winnings and roughly $400k in live winnings including a 3rd place finish at the EPT Villamoura stop.  As once a student of the game, Jason has expanded into a teaching role as a Deep Stacks Live instructor and was even featured on ABC's Good Morning America teaching host George Stephanopoulos the ins and outs of tournament poker.  Lee was also featured in the Time Magazine article "Attack of the Math Brats" showcasing the statistical angles online poker players were bringing to the live realm.

Tim hailing from Los Altos, California, is a very well known player both online and Live. He has been playing poker for just over 8 years, 6 of those professionally. He started as a limit holdem player in the Bay Area but quickly made the transition to sit n go's which eventually led to MTT's. He began pursuing poker professionally after winning a $150 buy in on party poker for $40k. In his young career Tim has racked up just over $3 million in online earnings and $ 1.6 million in live tournament earnings. Some of his biggest scores include a 2nd place finish at the Bellagio Five Diamond Classic for $180k and winning the Wynn Classic Main Event for just over $300k in March of 2011. This young gun is only 26 and has a very bright future ahead of him.

"Tim and Jason are both great players and great people! I am very happy to welcome them,"  says Jennifer Larson CEO of Lock Poker. "The goal is to create a global family that is diverse in skill, passion, poker and life. The initial vision I had for Lock is becoming a reality. Our partnership with the player gets stronger every day!"

"I wish I could put into words just how excited I am to be joining the Lock Poker team," says Jason Lee. "I'm eager to be surrounded by such an elite team of poker professionals and a staff whose primary goal is not just player satisfaction but meeting and exceeding player's every need and want.
