Eureka 4 Rozvadov Attracts 493 Players

Eureka 4 Rozvadov hits 493 players for the €1,100 Main Event making it the biggest stand-alone stop in tour's history.

Last year, there were 421 players here in Rozvadov and Bart Lybaert from Belgium took home the trophy as well as a €115,000 first prize. We are just 6 players shy of five hundred participants which means the prize pool will stand as guaranteed €500,000.
Yesterday we saw 192 in action on day 1a (60 made it through) and other 301 (including 6 no-shows) joined the field today; several notables attended day 1b - 2011 World Champion Pius Heinz, Friend of PokerStars Natalie Hof, EPT7 Vienna winner Michael Eiler, EPT10 Vienna runner-up Anthony Ghamrawi and EPT9 Player of the Year Jan Bendik.

TONY G ARRIVED TO ROZVADOV
A special attention goes to Antanas "Tony G" Guoga, former Lithuanin poker pro who arrived to the King's Casino today. Tony G has won almost $5 million in live tournaments but his most recent success came in his political carreer. For the first time he was elected into the European Parliament. He did not jump into the Main Event but we can expect him to participate in a cash game.

GERMANS WITH STRONGEST REPRESENTATION
Germany was the most represented country in the Main Event field (39%) which is no surprise as Rozvadov is situated close to the Czech-German border; 191 Germans entered the tournament. Poland is in a second place beating the home country as well; 58 Poles came to Rozvadov to play the Main Event. Czech Republic is third with 56 starters followed by Russia with 33 participants.
