Weather Forecast for the 2015 Breeders Cup: Rain Possible

The weather forecast for this year’s Breeders Cup in Lexington, Kentucky calls for rain later in the evening, however, any shift towards the late afternoon could result in a wet/muddy track for this year’s Classic. (Place your bets on this year's Breeders Cup races here)

“The mud will most certainly favor Triple Crown winner American Pharoah,” suggests Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

American Pharoah had run on sloppy tracks prior to the Kentucky Derby, which itself turned into a muddy mess.

American Pharoah is not the only mudder participating in this year’s Breeders Cup Classic.

Tonalist galloped through the slop to win this year’s Peter Pan.  Frosted did finish a respectable 4th place in the mud at this year’s Kentucky Derby.

For the first time, Keeneland Race Course, one of the most iconic tracks in the country, will play host to the Breeders' Cup, with weather more of a factor than say Santa Anita in California.
