Officials at the EOG.com website have finally come forward to confirm that the website's late founder did owe significant gambling debts prior to taking his own life last month.  Weitzner and his wife both inhaled lethal amounts of poisonous carbon dioxide and pills in their Chesapeake, Virginia home.

A site administrator responded to a question concerning the debts allegedly left by Weitzner:

Ok. We knew this would eventually hit EOG in more than just passing.

Yes ken killed himself. Yes, he did leave behind a lot of debt.

Nothing is really going to be accomplished rehashing this.

zona, we both know the family already knows a lot about ken and what he was doing, I personally see no good reason for you having brought it up yet again here.

Unless you are the person owed this money there is no reason for you to be bringing it here.

We are trying our best to move forward in spite of everything that has happened.

Nok, his family already knows of alleged debts he had at the time of his death, nothing here would be telling them anything they haven't already been made aware of.

As Gambling911.com revealed last week, Weitzner left both his stepsons his home and all other assets in his will, notarized the day before his death.  And though it was not mentioned specifically in the will, the assumption is that both sons will inherit the EOG.com website, assuming there were no other owners.

The question everybody seems to be asking is:  Do the stepsons also inherit all that alleged debt?

No exact figures have been disclosed.  A Gambling911.com source claims Weitzner bet and lost $100,000 on an NCAA basketball game prior to his death.  Others have speculated the amount owed is significantly higher.

Here is another question everyone should be asking:  If Weitzner were owed money at the time of his death, should the stepsons inherit the winnings?  Should those in debt to Ken pay the stepsons what they owe?

Somehow we have a feeling that would never happen.
