PKR Poker Affiliates Fear The Worst

PKR Poker

I run the media, publicity and portal development company, Media Man

Australia.  We also have a gaming and igaming arm, Casino News Media.

We are a member of a number of affiliate programs.

PKR is just one of dozens of affiliate programs we are in.  These days

we don't actively pursue new affiliate programs, as we're pretty happy

with the mix we already have.

The news...

For approximately 1 week I have been unable to log into to the PKR.com

Affiliate interface.  We have been a member of their affiliate program

for approximately 2 years.  We've generated hundreds of leads and

players for them.  We currently have a commission payment coming from

them, so I believe, based on last check of my affiliate commission

payment due report 1 week ago.

Today when I check their affiliate section of the site I can't log in

once again, and we didn't change our username or password.

It may be too early to start ring major alarm bells, but in this

industry (igaming, gaming and online casinos) you never know, as the

industry has has way too many affiliate issues to list over the past

few years.

I am hopeful that my reporting of this to the Gambling911.com website, one of my personal favorite websites in the world, may help get the situation

rectified, and also make other affiliates and igaming media aware of

this.  Unfortunately this falls under the serious type of news story,

rather than a positive news and PR one.

Other news media and gaming media may like to make their own enquiries.

Let's all do our best to try to make the industry a better place.

A couple of quotes and thoughts for the day, that this incident brings

to front of mind...

Internet is like electricity  -  James Packer

Big will not beat small anymore.  It will be the fast beating the slow

- Rupert Murdoch

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can

change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has -

Margaret Mead

Re: PKR Poker Affiliates Fear The Worst

PKR fixed the problems, and all is good in the world now. Hey, PKR even have Marvel slots these days also.

Don't jump accusing affiliate programs till you know better

It is all too common for affiliates to jump and slaughter an affiliate program simply because of a small issue. They go around accusing affiliate programs with their managers left/right and center. However should they realise they were wrong doing this they never will post an apology. PKR is a well established brand and this news article is a flame and should be removed.

Erin from Betus.com is the best!!!!

You won't have these problems with Betus.com and Erin is so helpful Greg. They are professional unlike these clowns. Take your players out of PKX and go with Betus (Cake Poker skin) or some other site that values customer service. Only idiots come up with lamo excuses like this poker room just did. Thanks Greg for alerting us. Will stay far away.

Whats new...another cry baby affiliate...

Just another "affiliate" who happens to run nothing more than a site full of banners and copyrighted news stories from other sites/publications (who if all goes to your fellow countryman's Murdoch's plan will be seeing you in court before not to long) crying over a legitimate minor software issue that if "media man" actually knew anything about software and the gaming business as he so likes to state would be well aware occurs often even with the biggest of operators be it gaming or otherwise. Love this line..."It may be too early to start ring major alarm bells, but in this industry (igaming, gaming and online casinos) you never know, as the industry has has way too many affiliate issues to list over the past few years."... really? Please amuse us and list the "way to many" legitimate affiliate program dissasters that have occured with major gaming sites..and I'm not reffering to the hole in the wall here tonight gone tomorrow sites that if you had signed up with deserve to get screwed just as those that knowingly invested with Maddoff etc did. Sure there has been a couple, but "way to many to list"? But hey, at least you got your little cry published and the ability to plug your site on "one of my personal favorite websites in the world" even if it is to bite the very arm that feeds you daily and allows your tiny little platform spreading the words and storys that others have written. PKR would do well to end there relationship with you immediately.

Greg, as i have explained to

Greg, as i have explained to you, we are doing work on the site, all in response to affiliate requests for a better system - it is taking way longer than we planned, but such is life - you cant see into the future and foresse problems, bugs and gliches. Again, as i said in my email you can rest assured that all the data is safe and all your players are tracked. Please refrain from these unhelpful posts - we value each and every one of our affiliates and would never do anything to jeapordise our relationships and reputation.
