Leicester Title Win had Longer Odds Than Obama’s ‘Moon Walk was Fake’ Admission

At the start of the 2015-2016 Premier League season, the fine folks at Paddy Power had offered Leicester at 5000-1 odds to win the title.  Amazingly these were longer odds of US President Barack Obama confessing that the Apollo moon landing in 1968 was all faked (500-1 odds).

Leicester winning had even longer odds than Elvis resurfacing alive and well at 2000-1. 

As Gambling911.com noted last week, bookies across the world including Vegas and the UK stand to lose over $5 million with what appears now to be an inevitable Leicester title victory.

Paddy Power’s competitor BetFred has already paid out £40,000 on Leicester future bets, some of which were offered early in the season at 2000-1 odds.
