Internet Gambling Facebook Page Turns Into Spam Central

Good intentions and a grassroots effort helped drive more than 400 fans to the OK to Play: Support i-Gaming Facebook page.  But now the page has become nothing more than a spammer's paradise.

The Facebook page was pushed heavily by Joe Brennan, Jr., the brash Irish-American founder of the Internet gambling trade organization Interactive Media Entertainment & Gaming Association (imega.org)

The page proclaims:  "Show your support for i-gaming. Invite your friends to play Play poker, make sports picks and more. See the latest news, learn about upcoming events and stay in touch with with others who Play the Game."

But the only news we've been getting of late is from some annoying pest named Justin Macgonal promoting her online casino and using an effort to build industry awareness for her own ritualistic spamming.

"Try the new slot game called Slot-O-Matic on the Winaday Casino."

She has even blatantly pretended to be a customer of her online casino, Winaday.

"I won some really cool bonuses on *******. You should chck it out.

Maybe she (or he?) should learn how to spell the word "check".  It is not spelled "chck".

Anyway, upon reading my expose on this matter, the powers-that-be (we'll assume that to be Mr. Brennan), swiftly got rid of Justin's pathetic posts.

Let's get some real news on this Facebook page.  Not this garbage.  The 463 fans deserve better than this.  Another half-ass effort to build momentum in this industry that turns into a complete letdown in my humble opinion.
