*Trevor Pope Wins World Series of Poker Event #2 Eight-Handed No Limit Hold'em tournament – The Wisconsin-born poker pro won the $5,000 Eight-Handed No Limit Hold'em tournament,and walked away with a bracelet and $553,906 cash. 

The first two 2013 WSOP winners both came to us from Wisconsin.

Here are the final table results for Event 2, the $5,000 Eight-Handed No Limit Hold’em Event:

1st: Trevor Pope - $553,906

2nd: David Vamplew - $342,450

3rd: Darryll Fish - $215,286

4th: Jared Hamby - $154,518

5th: Jamie Armstrong - $112,695

6th: Dan Kelly - $83,532

7th: Brandon Meyers - $62,915

*Charles Sylvestre Wins World Series of Poker Event #3 - The first two events at this year's World Series of Poker were all about the poker players from Wisconsin, but the first big field event was all about a player from a little further north.

Charles Sylvestre of Quebec, Canada joins Daniel Negreanu as the second player this year to win a bracelet after taking down Event 3 of the 44th Annual WSOP.  Sylvestre beat a large field in a $1,500 re-entry event  to earn $491,360.

*Miami Heat Open as a -7 Point Favorite in Game 7 vs. Indiana PacersThe Heat are a -7 favorite and that line hasn’t moved over the past first 12 hours after opening.  The last two games between these teams went UNDER after a significant streak of OVERs, suggesting star players are growing tired. 

*Second Casino Robbery in Three Days in Billings - Billings police are investigating another casino robbery, the second in three days in the city.

The latest robbery was reported at 1:39 a.m. Sunday at Maui Nights Casino, 5435 Midland Road, according to Sgt. Pat Curry.

Witnesses told officers that a white man in his 20s wearing black clothing displayed a handgun and demanded money from a casino employee. The gunman was given an undisclosed amount of money and ran from the casino.
