You can bet the England v Netherlands International friendly at BetPhoenix but we don’t recommend wagering on the side that hasn’t won in over 30 years.

The side in question?

That would be England.  They haven’t beaten the Netherlands in an international friendly for over 30 years – a 2-0 victory in May 1982.

That’s not to say England hasn’t beaten the Dutch over that period of time.  They destroyed the Netherlands 4-1 in a group game at the European Championships back  in 1996.  Two of the last three friendly matchups dating back to 2006 resulted in Draws.

England has not faced the Netherlands since 2012, losing to the Dutch 2-3.  The Netherlands have only lost once in 12 of the last meetings with England.

The English side is coming off a huge win against Germany on the road.

The Three Lions are favored here at 3-4.  The Netherlands is at 4-1.  The Draw comes in at 11-4.

The Draw was seeing under 5 percent of the overall wagering action with England seeing nearly 70 percent.

The Dutch, who finished third at the 2014 World Cup, have not qualified for this summer's Euro 2016 finals in France.

England manager Roy Hodgson offered: "The fact the Netherlands have suffered a lean period doesn't alter the fact they have very good players and are a very good team.

"After the Germany game we don't want a game that doesn't test us.

"I want these games to show that we have players capable of doing what we want them to do."

Another stat of note: The Three Lions have not won any of the previous five home games when facing the Dutch side.  Their victory in Euro 1996 occurred at a neutral venue.

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
