There are some great bars and Super Bowl watch parties in Queens this year.  You can place bets via your smartphone, iPad or laptop with various online wagering sites based outside the US.  Just be advised that Queens, New York establishments, bars included, are not permitted to take bets on the big game.

Bowery Bay - 19-33 Ditmars Blvd., Astoria - This eatery and whiskey bar will have an "indoor tailgate" happy hour starting at 5 p.m. with $4 draft beers, $2 Genesee beers and free pork sliders and chicken tacos.

Bar 43 - 43-06 43rd St., Sunnyside - The bar has four different party packages ranging from $50 for an open bar, 10 wings and a post-game drink to $110 for two "beer towers," 60 wings and and six post-game drinks.
