Udinese v Arsenal Betting Odds

Udinese v Arsenal betting odds for 24 August had Udinese at 13/10, the draw at 23/10 and Arsenal 21/10 at 888Sport.com.  Nearly 50 percent of the betting action was backing Udinese here.

The Gunners 1-0 lead against Udinese for the second leg of their play-off may not hold as they will be playing with the loss of key players such as Manchester City-bound Samir Nasri, Laurent Koscielny and Kieran Gibbs, the later two being injured.

Defeat would cost Arsenal about £20m.

Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger acknowledged:  “We need a good, solid defensive performance.  But we have experience in the Champions League and that’s a good way to use it.”

These two sides met for the first time last week.

Arsenal have lost only five of their 26 previous meetings with Italian opposition in Europe while conceding only a single goal in their last seven occasions facing off against an Italian side.

Arsenal have won all nine legs of their five Champions League Qualifying matches to date while Udinese have lost three of their last four European games, drawing one.

Arsenal has failed to score in its first two Premier League games of the season.  The last time this happened was 42 years ago.
