TCU vs. Texas Betting Line

The TCU vs. Texas betting line had number five-ranked Texas Christian as a solid -7 road favorite at Bookmaker.eu.

TCU was seeing the line move down to -6.5 at some books, including Bookmaker, despite nearly 70% of the action coming in on the Horned Frogs.

The Longhorns with their 6-5 Straight Up record have paid out in seven games played this season.  They were beaten badly by Texas last season following a win the previous year.

ESPN.com notes that TCU will want to avoid being the first top-10 team to lose to an unranked team on Thanksgiving since Ole Miss lost the Egg Bowl in 1970.  And guess what – out of the 7 unranked teams to beat top, 10 teams on Thanksgiving, 3 have been Texas.

Additionally, the Horned Frogs are 7-2 Against The Spread in their last 9 conference games, 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games following a Straight Up win and 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games following a bye week.

The Longhorns are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games following a ATS win and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following a SU win of more than 20 points.
