Sunday Night Football: Bears vs. 49ers Spread

The Sunday Night Football game between the Bears vs. 49ers featured a spread of San Francisco -6.5.  Most of the action was on the 49ers here especially after Chicago got upset by Buffalo at home last week.

A lot of pundits wrote off San Francisco’s defense coming into the 2014 season, that is until the 49ers managed to register four turnovers against Dallas last week.

Of course, Chicago is a much better squad than what they demonstrated during Week 1 so the 49ers should have their hands full.

Bears running back Matt Forte is a bona fide stud and just one of a highly talented team that fell asleep at the wheel last week.

FantasyPros.com says of Forte: “Matt Forte showed his versatility in Week 1 as he tallied a solid fantasy performance both receiving and running the football. Forte is elusive in the open field and gained nice chunks of yardage running to the outside on short passes and as Cutler's checkdown receiver. He did however, have a bit of trouble trying to run up the middle today against the Bills. He was also held without a Touchdown. Going forward, Matt should continue to be a solid #1 Fantasy RB that is an integral part of the Chicago offense. In PPR and combined yardage leagues Forte is a beast that will continue to lead his fantasy owners to victory.”

"A lot of people don't think we can stop the run," Bears linebacker Lance Briggs said. "But when we turn the tape on, it's a very different outlook than what everybody else sees. We lost to a team we really shouldn't have. Defensively, we were a couple of plays away from playing the type of defense we really want to play."

Aiyuk-Deebo Trade Odds and ROY Shift

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
