Redskins Odds to Win NFC East in 2015 Not Good

Once again the Washington Redskins are the red-headed step child of the NFC East with 16-1 odds of winning that division.

A 4-12 record last season, oddsmakers do have the Skins heavily favored to win at least 7 regular season games so that is a positive.

Management has opted to double down on RGIII, also known as starting quarterback Robert Griffin III, thus avoiding any QB controversy at the start, Draft selections focused heavily on size, and Scot McCloughan steps in as the new GM, someone many believe will help right this sinking ship.

But, as Drew Magery of DeadSpin.com rightfully notes, the Redskins abominable record is somehow the least embarrassing thing about them year after year.

Their bus crashing, hosting a cyber sale that prevented folks from ordering anything online, they allegedly bribed Native Americans then hired fake one’s to defend the usage of their team name and their best defensive back (not saying much) was injured by a pizza.

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
