Patriots Super Bowl Odds – 2015

The Patriots Super Bowl odds for 2015 had this regular favorite at a little more than 8/1 odds to win.

New England once again appears to be the dominant team in the AFC East.  At -260 odds, there is actually still some value.  Every $26 bet will result in a $10 profit.
Sports Illustrated offered up this analysis:

The Patriots' extended run atop the division has been sparked by dominance within it: New England was 4-2 against AFC East foes last year and went a combined 11-1 against the Bills, Dolphins and Jets the two years prior.

New England has won the last five AFC East titles and there was virtually zero competition within that division.  It appears that will be the case this upcoming season as well.

This year’s Patriots team is actually expected to be better than last year’s squad.

Rob Gronkowski should be 100 percent healthy.  New England has also acquired Darrelle Revis.

The Patriots are a very big -220 favorite to win OVER 11.5 regular season games in 2014.

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
