Panthers vs. Jaguars Betting Line – Week 1 NFL

The Panthers vs. Jaguars betting line was coming in at Carolina -3 for Week 1 of the 2015 NFL season.

Carolina beat Jacksonville by six points four years ago.  Despite the Jaguars woes over the past few seasons, they have managed to go 11-4 Against The Spread in their last 15 games in Week One.  Couple that with the Panthers’ .350 winning percentage in 20 season-openers being the lowest mark in the NFL.

The line in this game hasn’t moved much despite Carolina losing some key players during the preseason while others are suffering through injury.  Panthers starting quarterback Cam Newton should be considered for one’s Daily Fantasy Sports roster as he goes up against a defense that allowed 4.1 yards per carry and 127 yards per game on the ground last season.
