Denver Broncos Odds to Win AFC West

The Denver Broncos odds to win the AFC West were at 12 to 1 or greater coming into this week as they inch closer to .500.  That might not seem impressive but the Broncos appear to be the only team trending upwards in this very weak division.

The San Diego Chargers have lost four straight, are now 4-5 and were a ridiculous -200 to win the division coming into this week.

“What kind of value is that?” asks Gambling911.com own Don Shapiro.

The only team with a better record than Denver is Oakland and their situation at quarterback is precarious at best.

Granted, the Broncos will have one of the toughest schedules moving forward.  The only weak team they face outside of division rivals is Minnesota and that one is on the road.

Denver beat Kansas City on the road Sunday.  Tim Tebow was only 2 of 8 passing but still got enough done with his arm and legs and, in the process, had his highest QB rating as a starter at 102.6.

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
