Bookies Get Mauled by Cardinals Cover

What looked like a nice win for the bookies early on turned into a nightmare as the Arizona Cardinals came from behind to beat the Cleveland Browns.

Arizona was seeing more than 85% of the action in this game, making them the single most wagered on side of Week 8.

The 34-20 victory easily covered the -5 point spread.

Daily Fantasy NFL players backing Carson Palmer were just as joyous as the gambling public.

Palmer threw four touchdown passes -- three in the second half -- and for 374 yards.

The Cardinals starting quarterback had two touchdown passes in the third quarter with his team overcoming a 20-10 halftime deficit.

The bookies did end up recovering much of their losses by days end with Seattle failing to cover in its one-point win versus Dallas while Denver beat a big public favorite Green Bay.
