2015-16 Projections and Expectations

The season kicks off with a familiar foe coming to town, as Washington's head coach Chris Peterson led the Broncos for eight years while leading Boise State to two undefeated seasons before departing after the 2013 season. A road trip to BYU and Virginia in September will set the tone for the rest of the campaign, with the last big remaining challenges coming at Colorado State and Utah State in back-to-back weekends in October.

Utah State and Colorado State are expected to compete with Boise State for the Mountain Division title, which will make those two road games huge in deciding the team that comes out of that division. Despite all the talent returning, replacing both Hedrick and Ajayi is not going to be easy, as Ajayi did everything and anything coach Harsin asked him to do last year, seeing the ball 397 times in his final year on the blue turf of Albertson's Stadium. Almost every major outlet has Boise State taking the Conference title with a double digit-win season projected as well, but we are not just giving Boise the clear path that some experts seem to think they have.

If Chucky Keaton could ever stay healthy for more than five minutes, that could give Utah State a chance, but we can almost expect that something will get in his way to see him miss time during the year. Not that anyone can predict injuries, and we certainly do not want to see any of that, but his history of staying on the field does not bode well for him this year. We see the nine wins, and the possibility of 10 in the making, and this team undoubtedly has the lovely blue turf home field advantage in their favor. If Boise State makes it to the Conference title game, they will likely come out as champs, with San Diego State or possibly Nevada facing them.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?

Bet on Jared Verse Draft Position

Jared Verse had an over/under selection number of 15.5 with CBS Sports believing the Florida State EDGE will be chosen by the Seattle Seahawks at No. 16.
