Betting on the Arizona Cardinals

Betting on the Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Rams to win the 2011 NFC West Division had some good value but the reality is any one of these four teams can win the notoriously soft division including San Francisco and Seattle.

Arizona, however, is looking really good on paper while St. Louis performed quite well in the preseason.

Here is your future betting value index for both the Cardinals and the Rams courtesy of North America’s oldest established online sportsbook, Bookmaker:  (when joining Bookmaker, be sure to use online chat or open an account via the phone should you have any questions.  These guys are the best in the industry bar none).

Future Betting Value Index:

St. Louis Rams odds to win the NFC West division 2/1 – Fair

St. Louis Rams odds to win OVER 7.5 regular season games -130 – Fair

St. Louis Rams odds to win the 2012 Super Bowl 40/1 – Poor

Arizona Cardinals odds to win the NFC West division 2/1 – Very Good

Arizona Cardinals odds to win OVER 7 regular season games -120 - Excellent

Arizona Cardinals odds to win the 2012 Super Bowl 50/1 - Good

The San Francisco 49ers are a tough team to call this upcoming season.  There are roster decisions up in the air, especially in the quarterback position, that make the 49ers one of the most unpredictable teams of the season.

Oddsmakers have San Francisco winning 7.5 regular season games with pretty even odds on the OVER/UNDER.  With the 49ers expected to be underdogs in all but three games, the UNDER does have some value.

Their odds of winning the NFC West were set at 2/1, which is horrible value in our opinion.  They should have much longer odds.

Future Betting Value Index:

San Francisco to win the 2012 Super Bowl 40/1 – Poor

San Francisco to win the 2011 NFC West 2/1 – Poor

San Francisco to win UNDER 7.5 regular season games – Fair

Meanwhile, there could be some reason to bet the Seattle Seahawks this season.

The Seahawks did make moves during the offseason including the release of Matt Hasselback and the acquisitions of Sydney Rice and Tavaris Jackson.

Considering Seattle has only had one under .500 season over the past decade (they avoided one last year by making it to the Playoffs), the idea that oddsmakers have them listed as winning just 6 regular season games is enough to make our mouths water.

Seattle Seahawks to win the 2012 Super Bowl 125/1 odds - Fair

Seattle Seahawks odds to win the NFC West 7/1  (was 6/1) - Fair

Seattle Seahawks odds to win OVER 6 regular season games -120 – Very Good

Aiyuk-Deebo Trade Odds and ROY Shift

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
