Auburn Georgia Line

The Auburn Georgia betting line was coming in at -13, though some books had it at -12.5 and others took it off the board.  All the Vegas books were holding at -13.  Gambling911.com can reveal that 80 percent of those betting the spread in the Auburn-Georgia game were all over the Tigers.

Blake Frazier of BetOnline.com offered his confident take on why the Bulldogs will win this game:
“When you do your homework and assess your bet on the Auburn Georgia game, you have to come back to the fact that Auburn just doesn’t have a consistent quarterback. The Tigers, playing on the road, need a step-up performance from their field general, but precisely because they’ve had a revolving door at the position this year, they can’t expect a dynamic offensive showing. Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray has been erratic this season – he completed under 50 percent of his passes in the second half of an Oct. 29 win over Florida – but Georgia’s defense, under coordinator Todd Grantham, has been resilient and rugged this season. It’s Georgia’s defense which can hold Auburn down and allow Georgia to win this game with a score of 20-13 or thereabouts.”
Frazier may believe Georgia will walk off victorious but he doesn’t think they can cover.
“It’s not as though Georgia will win this game going away. The Bulldogs are too flawed to register a blowout. However, they will win the game and take home the SEC East. Georgia wins, but Auburn covers.”

Over the last three seasons, Georgia has failed to cover the current line versus Auburn, though they won two of those games Straight Up.

The Tigers have played very well against conference teams, going 13-3 Against The Spread in their last 16 conference games.

The Bulldogs are 3-9 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.  We should note they are also 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall and are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a S.U. win.
