The 49ers Super Bowl Odds 2015

The 49ers Super Bowl odds for 2015 were set at 8/1.  They have the 3rd shortest odds of winning the 2015 Super Bowl despite their schedule being 4th toughest in the league.

The 49ers are not without some impediments as NaVorro Bowman suffered a serious leg injury last season in the NFC title game while Aldon Smith is involved in an ongoing legal battle and could face suspension up to 8 games.  He was charged in 2012 with a DUI and with three felony counts of illegal possession of an assault weapon in October of 2013.  He has also been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of marijuana and, during this offseason, was detained at Los Angeles Airport for allegedly becoming belligerent with a TSA screener.   The good news for San Francisco is that division rivals and Super Bowl champs, the Seattle Seahawks, have had their fair share of offseason drama as well.

This 49ers team is blessed with one of the best offensive lines in the NFL.

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
