The St. Louis Rams were once known as the “Greatest Show on Turf” but have long since been relegated to the status as one of the worst teams in the NFL and a franchise that has not produced a winning record since 2003 with their last playoff berth coming in 2004. The Rams are also facing an uncertain future playing in a dome that is outdated and with their old home of Los Angeles pining for a team.
The 2014 St. Louis Rams should be improved as they will get quarterback Sam Bradford back from injury. If Bradford can play like a franchise player then this could be the season the team makes the playoffs.

2014 St. Louis Rams Offense: The St. Louis Rams will go as far as quarterback Sam Bradford takes them. He had a good rookie season in 2010 and then got hurt. He has missed 15 games in the past three years. It is a make or break season for Bradford. The team added Greg Robinson in the draft so upgrade the offensive line so they intend to protect Bradford better this season. The offense features a very good running back in Zac Stacy and the team added Kenny Britt in free agency. There is definitely potential for this offense to have a breakout season in 2014 but it is all up to Bradford.
2014 St. Louis Rams Defense: The St. Louis Rams have an excellent defense that should only get better. They took Aaron Donald in the NFL Draft to complement what was already a great pass rush. The defense is led by Robert Quinn who had 19 sacks last season and he is joined by Chris Long. The defensive line needs to be great because the linebackers are average and the secondary is poor. Trumaine Johnson is the best of the returning starters in the defensive backfield and he is nothing special. It is all about the front four for the Rams defense.
