Latest Odds: A-Rod to be Suspended, Sharknado Ratings

Here are your odds on current news stories for A-Rod getting suspended and the OVER/UNDER on Sharknado’s ratings courtesy of Gambling911.com.

The odds of Alex Rodriguez being suspended indefinitely (and perhaps forever) were set at 1/10

Major League Baseball is determined to suspend A-Rod for violation of a league anti-doping policy.  Rodriguez is alleged to have been treated with human growth hormone.

A-Rod remained defiant and insists he will play beginning Monday, the same day these suspensions are supposed to be handed down.

"As far as all the legal stuff, to me it's been confusing," Rodriguez said. "The one thing I've gotten from so many people, so many fans, some teammates, they're like, 'What is going on?' "
"I think there's a lot of people that are confused, a lot of people that don't understand the process," Rodriguez added of MLB's investigation and the due process players are afforded when confronted with allegations of using performance-enhancing drugs. "I will say this: There is more than one party that benefits from me not ever stepping back on the field. That's not my teammates and that's not the Yankee fans."

OVER/UNDER “Sharknado” getting 1.9 million viewers when it airs for a 4th time on Syfy August 22

A third airing of the Syfy original film “Sharknado” was the most watched encore for an original movie in Syfy history.  The film garnered 2.1 million viewers just the other night.  The film originally aired July 11.

A limited showing in theatres took place Friday at midnight and sales were described as “bloody good” with sellouts in New York, Boston and Seattle while additional showtimes were added to meet demand.

“Sharknado” centers around a freak hurricane hitting Los Angeles, causing man-eating sharks to be scooped up in water spouts and flooding the city with shark-infested seawater.
